More than 500 Russian exporting companies will present their goods and services at the opening ceremony of the first online exhibition on Alibaba.com to be held on September 29, the Russian Export Center (REC) said.

"The Russian Export Center has been cooperating with Alibaba.com since 2018. During this time, Russian manufacturers have managed to export a wide variety of goods through the Alibaba.com platform: from bitumen, steel coils and aluminum profiles to fitness equipment, cosmetics and animal feed. More than 500 Russian companies from different regions and sectors will take part in the first Russian online exhibition on this platform", said Veronika Nikishina, CEO of REC.

The exhibition will take place from October 4 to 17. The list of exhibitors will include such well known brands as VkusVill, Slavyanka and FOODCODE, as well as producers of high-tech fitness equipment, professional cosmetics for make-up, soft drinks, providers of energy saving technologies, pharmaceutical products, producers of handmade designer candles and musical instruments. Within the framework of the exhibition international audience will be told about key commodity categories and preferences for foreign buyers of Russian products.

After the opening ceremony, representatives of REC and Alibaba.com will hold a special master class for Russian companies interested in participating in global trade with Alibaba.com, the REC specified.
