Rusatom Overseas (related to Rosatom), Kamaz and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation signed a memorandum. The document envisages cooperation between the parties in the field of development and application of hydrogen technologies in the transport sector on Sakhalin, the Kamaz press service said.

"The parties will consider the possibility of joint participation in the project to create a hydrogen park, as well as the organization of eco-friendly transport on hydrogen fuel cells in the Sakhalin region," the company said.

Director of Development of Kamaz, Irek Gumerov said that in its activities the company is guided by global trends in mechanical engineering, one of which today is the hydrogen transport. Work on this innovative direction Kamaz is ready to work together with other market leaders and major corporations to achieve a greater effect.
