Moscow Proton plant has launched production of electric scooters with an annual capacity of about one thousand units. Investments in the project exceeded 20 million rubles, said Alexander Prokhorov, head of Moscow's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

"Designers of Proton plant have developed their own model of electric scooter, which is characterized by increased reliability and designed for use in kickshare services. At the existing facilities, the resident organized production, designed for the production of about 1000 scooters per year", - said the head of the department.

The scooter was created by innovative design for greater user convenience and easier maintenance. Scooter, developed by the Moscow company, can go up to 40 kilometers on one charge, and to recharge it will take 4-5 hours.

"Such a scooter is easier to operate - large wheels and a welded frame without bolt connections level out the mistakes of beginners. In addition, the device is safer compared to counterparts: the specialized base used by professional skateboarders gives the maximum possible traction of shoes with the platform of the scooter in any weather", - told the Department press-service.
