Rost Group plans to buy a large agricultural complex in the Urals

TTR Holding, a subsidiary of the federal group of companies Rost, applied to the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia for preliminary consent to acquire 99% of Churilovo agrocomplex.

"Churilovo" is the largest indoor vegetable and greenhouse producer in the region. The total area of its greenhouses is 62.5 hectares, the annual capacity is 73.5 thousand tons. In 2020, the agricultural company faced serious losses. The revenue dropped by 26.8%, down to 965.51 million rubles, the net capital outflow was 101.48 million rubles.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the principal owner of Churilovo is Sergey Vainshtein, a Chelyabinsk entrepreneur and former deputy of the State Duma.

"Rost is one of the largest greenhouse operators in Russia. In 2020, Rost had already announced the acquisition of the Valley of Vegetables group.

The main co-owner of LLC "TTR Holding" is a Moscow businessman Sergey Rukin. He also owns a number of agribusiness firms in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region.
