The Sveza company has completed modernization of the equipment at the Uralsky plant. The work has cost 23 million roubles, the company's press service informed the Made in Russia editorial office. Due to this the properties of the laminated plywood production will improve.

"The project started about a year ago. The investment amounted to over 23 million roubles. In the course of upgrading the existing facilities the operating boards of one of the laminating presses were replaced by new ones with an improved design," the report says.

By the end of the year the site should reach its full production capacity.

According to preliminary calculations, the company's profitability will increase by at least 50 million rubles in four years with the new product. By the year end, the plant is expected to produce about 25 thousand cubic meters of laminated plywood.
