In Moscow 14 animation companies will receive grant support from the mayor's office. It was announced by the vice-mayor of the city Natalia Sergunina.

"Support has been approved for 14 studios. In total, they will be allocated about 84 million rubles. Grants can be used for equipment and profile software purchase or for paying the employees' salaries", - she said.

It is known that the studios which are engaged in production of animated audiovisual products and are in the register of the animation organizations of the Ministry of culture of Russia or in the register of the Animation cinema Association participated in the contest.

In order to receive support, the studios need to increase revenue from the production of films by an amount three times the amount of the future grant.
