Novosibirsk company Biosan, which produces one of the main components of PCR test systems for coronavirus, plans to triple its production area by spring 2022 to increase production of triphosphates and enzymes. Vladimir Richter, deputy director of Biosan, said.

"Now we are solving the problem of a small amount of space. We have bought a new building, its repair and preparation for equipment placement is in progress. By spring we plan to transfer our production there. It will increase the area by three times," TASS quoted him as saying.

He said that now "Biosana" is able to fully provide all the Russian counterparts and export their products to neighboring countries, Europe and America. Now, export sales are growing, but not as much as in 2020, he added.
