Grain farming investment project to be implemented in Yaroslavl region

New sites for growing grain crops will appear in Bolsheskoye and Nekouzskoye districts of Yaroslavl region. According to Dmitry Mironov, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, the project will be implemented by Greinrus Agro.

"Investment capacity of the project is more than 6 billion roubles, after its implementation 186 jobs will be created. There is already a farm being set up in Bolsheselsky district for growing grains and oilseeds in the area of 10.5 thousand hectares, 30 thousand will be put into crop rotation in Nekozsky district", - the press service of the regional government quotes him as saying.

It is expected that the annual production volume by 2025 will amount to more than 124 thousand tons of grain. It is already known that the products will be supplied to the plant of the group of companies "Greinrus" in the Yaroslavl region, as well as to large poultry farms of the region - "Volzhanin" and "Yaroslavsky Broiler". There are also plans to export products to Caspian littoral states.

As a result of the investment agreement, the tax deductions will amount to about 85 million rubles, including about 78 million rubles to the regional and local budgets.
