Yaroslavl companies discussed opportunities for cooperation with Algeria and the potential for exports to the North African Republic during the "Hour with the Trade Representative". It was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

Within the framework of the event Russian Trade Representative to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Ivan Nalich told Yaroslavl producers of eco-technological, filtering and medical equipment, power engineering products, small shipbuilding, oil refining, plastic products, metal goods and furniture about the special features of the Algerian market.

According to Nalich, future exporters need to take into account the cultural peculiarities of the country and make allowances for the slowness in business. He also noted that products for export must have European certification.

The Algerian side is interested in environmental equipment, hybrid power plants and water supply systems. In addition, local businessmen are ready to cooperate in the oil and gas sector, including the establishment of joint ventures, in the chemical industry, as well as in the purchase of metal products, get services and equipment for exploration, purchase of medical equipment, food and agricultural products. The business language in the country is French.
