A 2.5 thousand square meter laboratory complex worth 435 million roubles will be launched in Novosibirsk, the Made in Russia editorial office was told by the company.

"Investments in the project amounted to 435 million roubles, financing is provided from the company's own funds. <...> The area of the innovation site is 2,500 square meters, its daily capacity is 75 thousand tests, including up to 16 thousand tests for COVID-19", - the report says.

Novosibirsk laboratory became the fifth technological platform of Helix, four more operate in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg. Commissioning of the facility will make it possible to increase the company's production capacity by 15%.

The complex is equipped with high-tech laboratory equipment made in Russia and abroad, including Japanese, Swiss and German manufacturers.

The laboratory has implemented a uniquĕ and the first for Siberia project to fully automate biochemical and immunochemical tests.

"By the end of 2022, 100 Helix centers will be operating in the Siberian Federal District. The new laboratory complex will perform at least 7 million tests within a year from its opening," said Yury Andreychuk, CEO of the company.

The new lab will be open 24 hours a day.
