Russian premium car manufacturer Aurus plans to open showrooms in Sochi and Kazan. This was announced by Adil Shirinov, Aurus CEO.

"Next we will have the South of Russia, most likely Sochi, after that the Volga region, I think it's Kazan, and the Urals or Novosibirsk," TASS quoted him as saying.

Shirinov also said that Aurus has already decided on the site and the partner for the opening of the showroom in St. Petersburg, the information will be announced by the end of October this year.

Aurus is a family of executive and top class cars, previously known under the project designation "Unified Modular Platform" and the project "Kortezh".

The project is being developed by the NAMI Institute since 2013 as a platform for creating vehicles for "transportation and escorting of first persons of the state, as well as other persons subject to state protection".
