Chukotka is expecting to send to the peninsula more than 200 containers with food, machinery and other cargo, said the head of the region Roman Kopin.

Kamchatka is facing a similar problem. According to Vladimir Solodov, head of the region, they are trying to resolve the problem of a three-month delay of cargo in the port of Vladivostok manually. He attributed the massive accumulation of cargo in the port city to the global crisis of freight logistics.

Kopin wrote on his Instagram that authorities are monitoring the situation on a daily basis. "The priority is food products, but it's not just about them. <...> Now more than 200 containers, equipment for Providence, Egvekinot, Anadyr, modular DCs for Tavaivaam, Yanrakynnot, Novy Chaplino, FAPs, house kits, etc. are waiting to be shipped to Chukotka," said the Chukotka head.
