The Russian Government will work out measures to improve insurance for agricultural producers, including in the event of loss of crops due to natural emergencies. Such order signed by President Vladimir Putin has been published on the Kremlin website.

"To prepare with the participation of the Government of the Amur region and submit proposals concerning the improvement of the insurance system for agricultural producers," the message reads.

It is noted that this refers to permanent subsidizing of 80% of insurance premium charged to representatives of small business at insurance of property interests related to the risk of loss of crop yield, including perennial plantations, as a result of emergency situation of natural character.

The order is to be executed till 10 November 2021.
