More than 17 million roubles will be additionally allocated to support farmers and development of rural cooperation in Ivanovo region, the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation informs.

Funding is allocated as part of the federal project for acceleration of small and medium businesses.

Most of the money (10.5 million rubles) will be allocated to winners of the Agrostartap contest for additional funding of projects related to creation and development of farming businesses.

"Additional funding in the amount of 6.6 million rubles will be directed to agricultural consumer cooperatives for partial reimbursement of costs for purchasing of agricultural machinery, equipment and farm animals," the report reads with reference to the regional department of agriculture and food.
