The number of food fairs in the Stavropol Territory has increased by 40% compared with 2020. This was reported by Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region.

"We have multiplied the number of fairs held. So, since the beginning of the year, 11.6 thousand fairs have been held, which is 40% more than in 2020," - he said.

Frolko noted that 12.7 thousand tons of products were sold at food fairs. The amount of proceeds exceeded 1 billion rubles.

Let's remind, earlier Frolko has informed, that the conception of the development of vegetable growing is being worked out in the region. Its target will be to increase the area under vegetable growing, and as a result, the volume of vegetable production, technical re-equipment of the production facilities, and the capacity increase of vegetable and potato warehouses.
