The Toyota RAV4, which will be assembled at the car concern's plant in St. Petersburg in 2016, will be exported to the markets of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, TASS writes with reference to the press service of the Toyota Motor branch in St. Petersburg.

"The Toyota factory in St. Petersburg produces the Toyota Camry model for the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus. In 2016 the company will start production of the second model - Toyota RAV4. Like the Toyota Camry model, the Toyota RAV4 will be produced for the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus," the press service of the company said.

Earlier it was reported that the auto concern is busy studying the possibility of organizing the export of Russian-made cars outside the CIS countries, including Europe. This information was also confirmed by the administration of St. Petersburg. The press service of the company has not commented on this information.
