Khabarovsk region will receive 84.5 million rubles from the federal budget for land reclamation works, Mikhail Degtyarev, the head of the region, said in his Telegram-channel.

"84.5 million rubles. This is the amount of subsidy from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture for the construction and restoration of reclamation complexes in the region in 2022," he said.

According to him, project financing will be introduced in the region in 2022. This will allow to implement major reclamation projects by attracting loans. Elite seeds for the agrarians of the Khabarovsk Territory and neighboring regions as well as commodity buckwheat will be grown on the arable land, newly introduced with the help of the state support, Degtyarev said.

Let us remind, that for the last five years the total volume of the state support for the implementation of reclamation measures amounted to almost 124 million rubles. As a result about 7 thousand hectares of unused agricultural land has been put into turnover.
