In Russia additional measures may be taken to develop and support folk crafts. The President of the country Vladimir Putin informed about it on his annual big press-conference.

"About folk arts and crafts - I think that lately we have taken a number of decisions, including in the sphere of education, those who are engaged and want to be further engaged in folk arts and crafts. But I can't disagree that not enough has been done. I noted for myself and what can be done in addition, we will try to do, "- he said.

Answering the question of the journalist from Mari El, the President noted that the neighboring republics "are unique in their own way". "Of course, there is always a desire to support all this," the president added.
