Russia's trade surplus doubled over the year to $184 billion
Russia has almost doubled its trade surplus to $184 billion by the end of 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an annual press conference.
"Now the trade balance. Even last year, despite all the difficulties, we had 94 billion, but now it has almost doubled, at the end of the year - 184 billion. It is also a very good indicator," he said.
Let us remind, earlier the Russian leader also said that GDP growth by the end of the year is expected to be 4.5%. Industrial production is growing at a rate of 5%, the processing industry - 5.2%. Investment in fixed assets is 7.6% as of November, and is expected to be 6% for the year. Real income growth of citizens will average 3.5% in 2021, he added.
