In Tatarstan the transport-forwarding company "Modul" may build an international transport hub in the form of a terminal-logistics and transshipment complex for servicing container cargo shipments.

As noted Farid Abdulganiev, authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for protection of rights of entrepreneurs, the creation of a new terminal-logistics complex in the SMLC will be a new stage for development of international container transportation in the Republic of Tatarstan.

"It will result not only in billion-dollar investments into the transport infrastructure, but also in the creation of new productions. As a result tax revenues to the republic's budget will increase and new jobs will be created," he is sure.

Transport-forwarding company "Modul" is one of the three largest operators of railway container transportation in Russia (according to Ernst&Young). Every month the company forms more than 200 container trains and sends more than 30 thousand containers by sea every month.
