Metropolitan manufacturers and developers have presented IT-solutions, equipment, medical devices and other goods at universal exhibition Expo-2020 in Dubai, said the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow Alexey Fursin.

The day before in Dubai a full-time business mission for Moscow companies within the framework of Expo 2020 has come to an end. The presentation of goods and services, business negotiations with foreign partners were part of the large-scale cultural and business programme of Moscow in the framework of the promotion of the Russian capital's application to host the Expo in 2030.

Participants in the business mission were 15 companies from the fields of IT and medicine, manufacturing equipment, construction products, electronics, consumer goods and food. Representatives of the companies held 170 meetings with buyers during that time.

"The organization of business missions within the Expo gives capital entrepreneurs unprecedented opportunities to expand business contacts and promote their goods and services on the global market. In the first two months alone, 5.6 million people have visited the World Universal Exposition. Negotiations of the business mission participants are currently ongoing", - said Fursin.

He called the United Arab Emirates and the countries of the region one of the most promising directions for the export of Moscow goods. He said that from January to October this year Moscow's non-energy export to the UAE grew more than sixfold to $370 million compared to the previous year.
