The Ministry of Health of Tunisia registered the Russian single-component vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik Lite as a universal booster, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) reported.

The Sputnik Lite vaccine is the first component of Sputnik V. Today, Sputnik Lite is approved in more than 30 countries worldwide.

Clinical trials and population vaccination data in many countries have demonstrated high safety and efficacy of Sputnik Lite when used both as a stand-alone vaccine and as a booster, the foundation's press service said.
