Aurora sea port is planned to be built in the village of Dunay in Primorye by 2030, the regional government said.

"The approximate production volume of the terminal is 35 million tons per year. The planned terms of the project are 2025-2030. The production will require almost 450 new jobs," the authorities said.

It's known that the investor is the company "Coastal Terminal". It is going to invest almost 60 billion rubles in the realization of the project. It is expected that the new port will stimulate the development of Fokino, Shkotovo District and the whole south of Primorye.

It is worth noting that together with the port construction it is planned to reconstruct transport infrastructure to service new facilities.

The village of Dunay is part of the closed territorial entity Fokino. It is located on the shore of Strelok Bay Peter the Great. More than 7.5 thousand people live in Dunay.
