Companies with state participation purchased products, services and works from self-employed people for a total amount of over 1 billion rubles. Procurement contracts were executed by more than 1.3 thousand self-employed, the press service of the SME Corporation said with reference to the data of 1,839 major customers.

"The most demanded by customers were the following services: advertising and marketing - 408.3 million rubles (40.3%); support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services - 80.7 million rubles (8.0%); transportation - 63.9 million rubles (6.9%); educational - 49.5 million rubles (4.9%); professional, scientific and technical, other - 47.1 million rubles (4.6%)," the report says.

At the same time the highest increase in the volume of purchases in 2021 compared with 2020 marked in publishing services, services in the field of creativity, art and entertainment.

The same privileges as for small and medium business are applied to self-employed persons during procurements under 223-FZ, reminded the SME Corporation. This applies to quotas set for the largest customers.

"We note a special demand for training seminars on access to procurement. They will be held on a digital platform, which we will launch in the near future. A total of more than 100 such events have already been attended by about 2.7 thousand self-employed citizens. At the seminars you can learn about support measures, the organization of procurement activities of major customers and the peculiarities of participation in procurement, "- said the general director of the Institute Alexander Isaevich.
