Exports of canned meat from Stavropol Territory have increased since the beginning of the year compared to the figures for 2021. The main buyers were Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation said.

According to the Ministry, one of the main producers of canned food in the region is Yugrosprom agricultural enterprise. It produces more than 400 types of preserves which are sold in the South of Russia in large trading networks and own stores. Raw materials are bought from local farmers.

Last year the company launched the largest meat processing complex in the south of the country with a logistics center with a total area of 7.7 thousand square meters. It allowed increasing the production capacity up to 10 thousand tons.
