Kurgan region will build a plant for the production of reinforced concrete products and a plant for the production of gabions - a mesh for strengthening the foundations of highways, landscapes and riverbanks, said the governor of the region Vadim Shumkov.

"The Vargashinsky industrial park will launch construction of two plants this year: gabion production (polymer netting used to strengthen the soil) and reinforced concrete," TASS quoted him as saying.

It is known that the project of gabion production will be realized by MobiDik company. It will create 60 new jobs.
