世界選手権でロシアのフィギュアスケーターが史上初の全表彰台を獲得

For the first time in history Russian athletes took the entire podium at the World Figure Skating Championships in Sweden.

Places on the podium were taken by two sixteen-year-old figure skaters - Anna Shcherbakova and Alexandra Trusova - and 24-year-old Elizaveta Tuktamysheva.

Shcherbakova won the gold medal with a total of 233.17 points. The girl will be seventeen next Sunday, and as the athlete herself confessed, such a victory was the best gift she could get.

Tuktamysheva performed at the World Figure Skating Championships for the first time since 2015, then she took first place. Now the figure skater won silver for the performance of the free program with 220.46 points.

Alexandra Trusova won bronze, taking off from 12th place in the short program.

The girls have won five of the last six podiums at the women's world championships and 10 of the 12 podiums at the junior world championships.
