The first drugs for the treatment of coronavirus of the Alium enterprise near Moscow have become available to patients. We are talking about the drug molnupiravir, which the World Health Organization recommended for the treatment of covid, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region reported.

"The company produces a wide range of medicines and expands the product line. Recently, the company launched the production of a drug for the treatment of coronavirus and has already released several first batches to the market. In general, the capacity of the plant allows to produce up to 15 million packages of antikovidny drug,"- said the head of the department Ekaterina Zinovieva.

The plant manufactures the medicine on a full cycle. The production technology was developed by specialists of the Obninsk Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company.

To date, molnupiravir is included by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the list of vital and essential drugs.
