Rostec State Corporation sent a proposal to the Ministry of Finance to extend state support to all IT specialists of all companies, and not only to software vendors, and to supplement the list of benefits, Izvestia learned.

In particular, the state corporation called for subsidizing from regional budgets 30-50% of the cost of renting housing for industry employees who do not have their own apartment or house, and to establish a guaranteed salary for an IT specialist.

According to the authors of the initiative, such measures will not only preserve equal and competitive conditions for hiring employees in IT, but also avoid their outflow from key sectors of the economy.

The state corporation also proposed to extend support measures for technology companies (including tax incentives and exemption from inspections) to firms engaged in wholesale trade of computer equipment and software, activities for the examination and examination of computer systems, user training and many others. Currently, such structures cannot receive benefits, since software development revenues in their revenue account for 20-40%, and the required level is 90%.
The Ministry of Finance has confirmed receipt of the letter and is studying the proposals.
