The Government of the Russian Federation will support the promotion of Russian brands for the first time, said Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

"The government made a decision this year and for the first time 500 million rubles will be allocated in a pilot mode for the promotion of Russian brands in the media, primarily on television," the minister said.

Recall that the national brand "Made in Russia" has been created in the Russian Federation — an information system implemented in strategic partnership with the Roscongress Foundation, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI), ANO "Russian Quality System" (Roskachestvo) and Yandex. The project is aimed at promoting and increasing the recognition of Russian business in the domestic and foreign markets. The system includes news feeds, catalogs of companies and experts. The audience of the project is more than 121 thousand regular readers from 114 countries, more than 1,500 domestic enterprises and 11 regions of Russia have become participants of the system.
