Simulators for resuscitators cheaper than imported ones will be produced in Moscow

The company from technopolis "Moscow" will launch serial production of breathing simulators this year. The equipment is designed to train students and doctors to work on a ventilator (ventilator).

The simulator reproduces the breathing of people with lung disorders of varying severity. The simulator is compatible with ventilators of any manufacturers, the press service of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital told.

The company started creating equipment in 2020. It was conceived as an alternative to foreign simulators, said the head of the department Vladislav Ovchinsky.

"As a result, the company's engineers managed not only to create their own technical solution, but also to fully localize its manufacture in Russia. The device will enter mass production in 2022, more than three million rubles have been invested in its development. By 2026, the company plans to produce 2000-2500 such simulators annually," the head of the department noted.

The device is 1.5–2 times cheaper than foreign analogues. Testing of the device is now being completed in Russian clinics that can purchase it in the future, and documentation and lines for mass production are being prepared.
