In the Moscow region, the strawberry harvest in 2022 may grow by 30% compared to the same period last year, said Vladislav Murashov, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Management of the region.

"Last year, more than 1 thousand tons of delicious strawberries from the Moscow region were harvested in the region. This year, the area of plantations under strawberries of the garden farmers of the Moscow region is increasing by more than 100 hectares, which will ensure a 30% increase in the strawberry harvest in the near future," he said.

Murashov also noted that the harvest in the region starts at the end of June.
