The trade turnover between Russia and Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2022 increased by more than 45% to $ 171.1 million, the Kremlin reported.

It is noted that exports increased by 49.3% (up to 124 million dollars), imports - by 35% (up to 47.1 million dollars).

The main directions of Russian exports to Turkmenistan include machinery, equipment and vehicles, foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials, chemical industry products, metals and products made from them.

Russia imports textiles and footwear, foodstuffs, chemical industry products and rubber from Turkmenistan.

It should be recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the new President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov today.
