VK has launched the function of paying for purchases and services using a QR code, the company's press service reported.

The agreement on the launch of the new functionality was signed between VK Pay and the National Payment Card System at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

As explained in the company, the new payment method appeared in Odnoklassniki, VKontakte, My World and partly in Games Mail.ru ". In the future, the list of services with the possibility of payment by QR code will be expanded.

Payment by QR code is convenient and safe, VK noted. User data is not transferred to third parties, payments are instantaneous, since there is no need to dial the card number manually.
