UEC-Perm Motors and UEC-Aviadvigatel will expand production and produce 12 PS-90A, PD-14 and PD-8 engines for Russian civil aircraft in 2024. The work will be carried out in cooperation with UEC-Saturn (Rybinsk), the press service of the Perm Krai government reported.

"The most important task is to complete the certification of the MS-21-310 aircraft with our engine. In parallel, we have already received a pre-order for it: from 2024 - for the production of 12 engines, then - 24, then - 36. The main thing for today is the preparation, deployment of capacities at all enterprises of the cooperation that we have created," the press service quotes the Deputy General Director of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) for the management of scientific and technologicalthe production complex "Perm Motors" by Alexander Inozemtsev.

Civil airliners will mainly be equipped with engines of Perm production - PS-90A, PD-14 and PD-8. However, along with this, Perm enterprises face the task of creating a promising PD-35 engine.
