Moscow's machine-building industry has increased production by 77% since the beginning of the year
The enterprises of the machine-building industry in Moscow from January to April produced 77% more products than a year ago, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy mayor of the capital.
"Since the beginning of the year, the machine-building industry in Moscow has shown an increase of 77.4%. The positive dynamics in this segment has continued since last year: in 2021, factories increased the output of goods almost four times. The volume of shipments of enterprises in the four months of 2022 increased by 42% and amounted to almost 50 billion rubles," he said.
Such growth, according to the deputy mayor, is associated with the development of the capital's production facilities and high demand in the country and in foreign markets.
The capital's manufacturer of air ducts and ventilation systems "GalVent Ventilation Factory" has produced 15% more products since the beginning of the year than in the same period last year. Now the company is actively engaged in import substitution.
In general, 249 manufacturers of machinery and equipment work in the capital. They can apply to the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support for preferential loans to replenish working capital and implement investment programs.
In addition, the city has a benefit for investors who plan to build production facilities in the city. They can rent land for the creation of new and reconstruction of existing facilities at a rate of one ruble per year. This will allow businesses to reduce the cost of creating jobs, as well as to establish the production of products important for the life and economy of the city in a short time. Currently, the city has concluded four such agreements.
