AL AGRO LLC has launched three Atlas Honey stores with Bashkir honey in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), two more outlets are being prepared for opening, the Government of Bashkortostan reported.

The AL AGRO project is aimed at creating a sustainable channel for the supply of environmentally friendly and organic products from Russia to the Middle East, which will be sold through its own retail network and other distribution channels.

The project involves the opening of 1 thousand stores by 2030 in the Middle East," the authorities of the republic noted.

"The AL AGRO project is a great opportunity for Bashkortostan enterprises to declare themselves as representatives of the Russian region, where only natural and high-quality products are produced. In the future, this trading platform can serve as a "shelf" for Bashkir producers of various eco-products," said Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of Bashkortostan.

The Bashkir Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy will help the company to provide the necessary volumes of honey for export, attracting producers from all over Russia and Bashkortostan.

"In order to avoid getting low-quality honey on the shelves, entrepreneurs are working on the issue of possible certification of the supplied products. The company plans to increase the volume of supplies to 100 tons of honey per month," the republic noted.
