The Atomize platform has launched the first industrial token - for palladium
The Russian asset tokenization platform Atomize has started issuing digital financial assets (CFAs) for precious metals. This is stated in the press service of the company.
Representatives of the Atomize platform, one of the investors of which is Vladimir Potanin's Interros, explained that the first CFA for palladium will be released.
By purchasing a token, the investor will be entitled to a monetary claim equivalent to the market value of the metal. At the same time, palladium is not publicly available on the Russian market, but it will be presented on the Atomize platform in the format of a new type of financial instruments that allow both purchases and investments.
According to Potanin, "the issue of the first Russian industrial token means the entry of the Russian economy into a new period." He also added that tokens in the future may displace the asset-unsecured cryptocurrency.
The company also added that palladium was chosen as the starting metal for the CFA. In the future, their list "will expand as interest from investors and issuers grows."
Atomize LLC is a platform for the creation and circulation of CFA. It was created in Russia in 2020, and its development involved the Hyperledger protocol, one of the creators of which is IBM. In February 2022, the Bank of Russia granted the Atomize platform the first registration of an operator of digital financial assets in the country.
