Roselectronics has developed components for Superjet and MC-21 aircraft

Electronic components for communication equipment on Sukhoi Superjet-100 and MS-21 passenger aircraft have been developed in Russia. Roselectronics Holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) has created a line of vacuum high-frequency polarized switches. This is reported on the holding's website.

It is important that the domestic development allows you to completely replace the American components in the onboard radio equipment. "The products have been successfully tested as part of on—board communication equipment and can be used in civil aviation," the report says.

Earlier, former Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that the first 20 Superjet, consisting entirely of Russian components, will be released by 2024. Later, Denis Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, promised to increase the fleet of Russian airlines with domestic aircraft. According to him, by 2030, more than 1,000 aircraft will be transferred to airlines for the needs of civil aviation.

The development of the Penza NIIEMP by order of the Nizhny Novgorod NPP "Flight", which is engaged in the production of antennas and short-range radio stations for Superjet, allowed us to go ahead of schedule. Both enterprises are part of Roselectronics. It is planned to produce 1,500 high-frequency switches annually.

The impetus for the development of domestic technologies and the aviation industry was given by the sanctions imposed against Russia by the United States, Great Britain and EU countries. In particular, Russian air carriers were banned from buying foreign aircraft and spare parts for them, as well as carrying out maintenance.
