48

The Moscow Industry and Entrepreneurship Support Fund has approved applications from urban industrial enterprises to receive preferential loans for the implementation of investment projects totaling more than 6 billion rubles. This was stated by the vice-mayor of the capital Vladimir Efimov.

According to the deputy mayor, in accordance with the decision of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the rate on preferential investment loans in the capital decreased from 9% to 3%. The terms apply not only to new loans, but also to previously approved applications. The maximum loan amount has also been increased: from 1 billion rubles to 3 billion rubles. Loans have been approved to enterprises providing more than 3.5 thousand jobs in the city.

Recall that in March 2022, the capital's government approved a set of anti-crisis measures to support business. In accordance with the program, the city authorities provide industrialists and investors with preferential loans for the creation of non-residential facilities in Moscow. The total amount of funds allocated under the program amounted to 20 billion rubles.

Companies registered in the capital and operating on its territory for at least 2 years can receive funds. Enterprises should also not be in the process of bankruptcy and have no tax arrears. The minimum number of employees in this case should be 50 people for high–tech industries and 100 for the rest.
