A meeting on the implementation of the Far Eastern Concession state support mechanism was held in Primorye. It is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic. This was reported in the press service of the regional government.

According to the chairman of the government of the region Vera Shcherbina, the use of the "Far Eastern Concession" mechanism has already been worked out in the region. During the year of the program's implementation, the demand of entrepreneurs for participation in public-private partnership projects has increased in the region.

Thus, one of the projects being implemented is the creation of a general type of boarding house for stationary accommodation of older people and disabled people for 130 places. The relevant initiative is being coordinated at the federal level. The project participants have already sent an application for funding.

Two more large facilities are at the stage of a high degree of readiness. This is a year-round family ski resort "White Mountain" in Arsenyev and the Palace of Martial Arts in Vladivostok." The total amount of investments in these two projects is about 18 billion rubles. It is expected that an agreement on two concession facilities will be signed during the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF) - 2022, which will be held in September.

In addition, 45 more facilities in the region are under development.

Recall that the WEF is an international forum held annually in Vladivostok with the aim of stimulating foreign investment in the Russian Far East and developing economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
