The authorities of Primorsky Krai intend to continue cooperation with China and increase trade turnover. This was stated by the head of the region Oleg Kozhemyako during a meeting with the delegation of the Asian state.

According to him, under the conditions of sanctions, Primorye has revised the structure of its foreign trade relations. The region intends to deploy a transit cargo base, which will increase the total trade turnover with China "to $7 billion and even more."

Kozhemyako also offered partners from China to create a service center in Primorye for the sale and maintenance of Chinese-made special equipment.

In turn, Chinese Consul General in Vladivostok Piao Yangfan noted that China can help Russian colleagues "implement major projects, and our Chinese entrepreneurs will find reliable partners here in Primorsky Krai."
