The management of the Balyk fish factory in the Chelyabinsk region plans to build two trout production workshops. It will use the technology of installation of closed water supply, the press service of Rosrybolovstvo reported.

As explained in the department, the technology of closed water supply has a number of advantages: independence from weather conditions and a high degree of controllability. In addition, it allows fish factories to achieve final results many times faster than with other methods of aquaculture.

It is expected that the plant will produce up to 100 tons of trout annually.
