Russia plans to allocate more than 30.8 billion dollars for the development of railway infrastructure in China, Kazakhstan and Mongolia by 2030, Vedomosti writes with reference to the presentation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

The authenticity of the document was confirmed by a newspaper source close to the ministry.

According to the presentation, the investment project provides for the construction of three new railway checkpoints across the Russian border with a total length of 3 thousand kilometers. The railways will run on Chinese, Kazakh and Mongolian territories, as well as 369 kilometers of tracks will continue on the territory of Russia. In this regard, at least seven large-scale construction projects are planned.
