According to the plan, agroexport from the Rostov region should amount to more than $ 6 billion in 2022, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reported.

"Our region remains the leading agricultural and export-oriented region, and despite external challenges and sanctions pressure, we see that there is a steady demand for the products of the Don agro-industrial complex on the world food market. The plan for the export of agricultural products, according to the national project, from the Rostov region in 2022 should amount to more than $ 6 billion. As of mid–July, the volume of agricultural exports from the Don region amounted to almost 3.4 billion dollars in monetary terms in actual prices," said Viktor Goncharov, First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Rostov region, grain exported in the amount of more than $ 2 billion. Exports of products of the fat and oil industry amounted to more than 850 million dollars in monetary terms at actual prices. The main importers are Turkey and Egypt and Libya.

According to the results of last year, the volume of exports from the Rostov region in monetary terms in actual prices is more than $ 6.8 billion, while the planned indicator for the national project "Export of agricultural products" is $ 5.4 billion.
