The Reksoft project on automation of the logistics center of the Russian Post in Samara received the national award "Logistics of the Year" 2022 in the nomination "The best digital solution in logistics", the press service of the IT company informed the editorial board of "Made in Russia".

The Logistics of the Year Award is the oldest Russian professional award in the field of logistics, which is being awarded 20 times this year. Traditionally, companies from various areas of the Russian logistics market are represented among the participants of the award. 43 award nominations reflect the state of the Russian logistics services market, which unites companies in an effort to develop the market and effectively interact in the supply chain.

"It is a great honor for us to receive a digital award from representatives of the professional logistics community. She speaks about the industry's interest in innovative solutions that help significantly increase efficiency and optimize costs both at the stage of creating large logistics complexes and during their further operation. I would like to note separately that the entire system is designed and manufactured in Russia and consists of 80% domestic components," Alexander Semenov, Director of the Department of Transport and Logistics of Reksoft, said at the award ceremony.

Reksoft presented to the professional jury a comprehensive project on automation of the Samara logistics postal center (LPC) of the Russian Post, which was implemented using the most modern technologies. The LPC can process up to 300 thousand shipments daily.

"Processing such volumes of correspondence is impossible without automation. At the very beginning of the project, a digital twin was developed, which completely modeled the management of a complex with a total area of 15 thousand square meters, consisting of more than 100 nodes and mechanisms of various levels of complexity. The project included transportation lines, sorting zones, picking zones, tag and barcode recognition systems, dynamic weighing and automatic size determination systems, automated exits," the company said.

The software was created by Reksoft on the basis of industrial controllers and equipment management platforms. Thanks to the use of a digital twin, even at the design stage, the team was able to accurately predict every detail of the work of the LPC, take into account all the relationships, eliminate bottlenecks.
