This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a study of the service "SberAuto"."The average check for new cars for the two summer months amounted to 2.3 million rubles, and 1.1 million rubles for used cars," the publication says.

At the same time, back in May of this year, the average cost of a used car was 1.15 million rubles, and a new one was 2.43 million rubles.

The most budget car purchased through the service in June-July turned out to be a Kia Rio with a mileage of 360 thousand rubles, and the most expensive was a 2020 Range Rover Sport for 6 million rubles.

Experts of SberAuto recommend Russians who want to save money on buying a car to look for it in other regions.

"You can find a more successful car either in terms of equipment or price. This is especially true of the secondary market.
