The Ministry of Culture of Russia will allocate state funding for the production of 145 film projects in 2022. Among them are feature films, TV series, animation and documentaries, the press service of the department reported.

In total, 1.5 thousand applications were received for project financing, which is 25% more than a year earlier.

In feature films, experts recommended state support for 11 films of socially significant subjects, seven children's films and 11 original and experimental films, as well as four projects at the stage of completion of production and one co-production film with minority participation of Russia.

The documentary film will support 32 full-length, nine popular science and 114 short films. In animation - 53 short films and 22 animated series.
