Argumentum Pharma, a resident of the Dubna Special Economic Zone, has received a permit to build a factory for the production of finished medicines. It is planned to invest at least 1.5 billion rubles in the project, and the area of the new production will exceed 8 thousand square meters, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region reported."At the plant, the pharmaceutical company will establish the production of sterile drugs in ampoules, vials, pre-filled syringes and cartridges.

The investment project involves the creation of two production facilities. The appearance of a new enterprise on the territory of the Moscow SEZ will create about 180 new jobs for residents of Dubna," said the head of the Ministry Ekaterina Zinovieva.

Argumentum Pharma will build two new laboratory and production complexes in the SEZ.

"The construction of the first of them has already begun, and we expect that we will soon be able to start production at these facilities. At the facility, which will be launched as part of the second stage of our investment project, the production of hormonal drugs will be established," said Oleg Levchenko, the company's CEO.

The company intends to develop and mass-produce medicines, most of which are included in the list of vital and essential medicines, as well as medicines that are not produced in Russia today. This, in turn, contributes to solving one of the key federal tasks of import substitution of products, which is of exceptional importance for the pharmaceutical industry.
