Tourists from Russia will be able to fly to Margarita Island in Venezuela without transfers from October 1
Direct flights between Russia and Margarita Island in Venezuela will be launched from October 1. Five flights will be operated weekly. This was stated by the Minister of Tourism and Foreign Trade of the South American Republic Ali Padron.
"I want to make an announcement - on October 1, direct tourist flights between Moscow and Porlamar begin," the minister said on the Venesolana de Television TV channel.
In total, there will be five flights a week. 440 tourists will be transported on each flight. Note that Porlamar is located on the southeastern part of Margarita Island. Previously, tourists had a need to go to the resort with transfers. In particular, once every 15 days a plane from Moscow went to the capital of the republic - Caracas.
